Coriander Futures Surge on Demand

Coriander prices climbed in futures trade on Wednesday due to increased demand and restricted supplies from producing regions.
New Delhi, Jul 3 (PTI) Coriander prices on Wednesday rose Rs 46 to Rs 7,204 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for July delivery traded higher Rs 46 or 0.64 per cent at Rs 7,204 per quintal with an open interest of 19,630 lots.
A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said.
