Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Higher Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose in India on Friday, driven by increased demand for cattle feed and fresh positions taken by speculators.
New Delhi, Oct 11 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday increased Rs 10 to Rs 2,961 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 10 or 0.31 per cent at Rs 2,961 per quintal with an open interest of 19,150 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
