Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Higher Demand
Cottonseed oil cake prices surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased demand for cattle feed and fresh bets by speculators.
New Delhi, Feb 3 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday rose Rs 33 to Rs 2,703 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded higher by Rs 33 or 1.22 per cent at Rs 2,703 per quintal with an open interest of 34,910 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded higher by Rs 33 or 1.22 per cent at Rs 2,703 per quintal with an open interest of 34,910 lots.
