Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline on Soft Demand - PTI

Cottonseed oil cake prices fell Rs 7 to Rs 2,569 per quintal in futures trade on Friday, driven by weak spot market trends and participant sell-offs.
New Delhi, May 3 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday decreased Rs 7 to Rs 2,569 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in spot markets.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery fell Rs 7 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 2,569 per quintal with an open interest of 65,030 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery fell Rs 7 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 2,569 per quintal with an open interest of 65,030 lots.
