Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline on Soft Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices declined on Friday due to weak demand in spot markets. Participants reduced their bets, leading to a fall of Rs 16 per quintal.
New Delhi, Sep 13 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday marginally declined Rs 16 to Rs 3,076 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in spot markets.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery fell Rs 16 or 0.52 per cent to Rs 3,076 per quintal with an open interest of 14,340 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
