Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline on Soft Demand
Cottonseed oil cake prices fell by Rs 9 to Rs 2,698 per quintal in futures trade on Tuesday, driven by weak spot market trends and selling by participants.
New Delhi, Dec 24 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday declined by Rs 9 to Rs 2,698 per quintal in futures trade, as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for January delivery traded lower by Rs 9 or 0.33 per cent at Rs 2,698 per quintal with an open interest of 35,500 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
