Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline on Soft Demand
Cottonseed oil cake futures declined on Monday due to weak demand in the spot market. Prices fell by Rs 10 to 2,663 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Dec 30 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday declined Rs 10 to 2,663 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for January delivery traded lower by Rs 10 or 0.38 per cent at Rs 2,663 per quintal with an open interest of 35,670 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for January delivery traded lower by Rs 10 or 0.38 per cent at Rs 2,663 per quintal with an open interest of 35,670 lots.
