Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline on Soft Demand
Cottonseed oil cake prices dropped Rs 7 to Rs 2,660 per quintal in futures trade due to weak trends in spot markets and a sell-off by participants.
New Delhi, Feb 29 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday decreased Rs 7 to Rs 2,660 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in spot markets.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery fell Rs 7 or 0.26 per cent to Rs 2,660 per quintal with an open interest of 56,750 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
