Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline on Weak Demand
Cottonseed oil cake prices fell in futures trade on Monday due to weak demand and selling pressure in spot markets.
New Delhi, Jul 1 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday decreased Rs 33 to Rs 2,854 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in spot markets.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for July delivery fell Rs 33 or 1.16 per cent to Rs 2,854 per quintal with an open interest of 54,150 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
