Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline on Weak Demand
Cottonseed oil cake prices fell by Rs 16 to Rs 2,715 per quintal in futures trade on Monday, driven by soft demand and subdued spot market trends.
New Delhi, Feb 24 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday fell by Rs 16 to Rs 2,715 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded lower by Rs 16 or 0.59 per cent at Rs 2,715 per quintal with an open interest of 66,570 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
