Cottonseed Oil Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Cottonseed oil cake prices declined by Rs 25 to Rs 3,188 per quintal in futures trade due to soft demand and weak spot market trends.
New Delhi, Jul 24 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday fell Rs 25 to Rs 3,188 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for August delivery traded lower by Rs 25 or 0.78 per cent at Rs 3,188 per quintal with an open interest of 72,700 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
