Crude oil futures declined on Wednesday due to low demand. On the MCX, crude oil for September delivery fell Rs 7 or 0.11 per cent to Rs 6,346 per barrel.

New Delhi, Aug 28 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Wednesday declined 0.11 per cent to Rs 6,346 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for September delivery fell Rs 7 or 0.11 per cent to Rs 6,346 per barrel with a business volume of 7,154 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil remained flat at USD 75.53 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.14 per cent up at USD 79.44 per barrel in New York.
