Crude oil futures fell on Monday due to low demand, with prices dropping by Rs 3 to Rs 5,676 per barrel on the Multi Commodity Exchange.

New Delhi, Nov 18 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Monday slipped Rs 3 to Rs 5,676 per barrel in futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery traded lower Rs 3 or 0.05 per cent at Rs 5,676 per barrel in 11,218 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.07 per cent higher at USD 67.07 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.21 per cent up at USD 71.19 per barrel in New York.
