Guar Seed Prices Fall on Ample Supply

Guar seed futures decline Rs 55 to Rs 5,557 per quintal on NCDEX due to increasing supplies from growing regions. April contracts affected.
New Delhi, Mar 10 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Tuesday declined Rs 55 to Rs 5,557 per quintal in futures trade amid ample supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery fell Rs 55, or 0.99 per cent, to Rs 5,557 per quintal with an open interest of 43,295 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
