Zinc Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI
Zinc prices fell 0.02% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand from consuming industries. Speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
New Delhi, Feb 4 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday marginally fell 0.02 per cent to Rs 269.05 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for March delivery traded marginally lower by 5 paise or 0.02 per cent at Rs 269.05 per kg in 418 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
