Zinc Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI
Zinc prices fell 0.6% to Rs 274.30 per kg on Friday as speculators reduced exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
New Delhi, Mar 21 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday fell 0.6 per cent to Rs 274.30 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded lower by Rs 1.65 or 0.6 per cent at Rs 274.30 per kg in 1,093 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
