Zinc prices fell 0.95% on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to reduced speculation and weak demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Nov 12 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday fell 0.95 per cent to Rs 275.60 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded Rs 2.65 or 0.95 per cent lower at Rs 275.60 per kg in 665 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
