Zinc Futures Rise: Demand Boosts Prices

New Delhi, Nov 25 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday rose Rs 1.30 to Rs 298.55 per kilogram in futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded higher by Rs 1.30 or 0.44 per cent to Rs 298.55 per kilogram with a business turnover of 2,440 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries, kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
