New Delhi, Sep 11 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose 60 paise to Rs 279.85 per kilogram in futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for October delivery traded higher 60 paise or 0.21 per cent to Rs 279.85 per kilogram with a business turnover of 913 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
