Zinc futures climb on MCX due to increased spot demand. November contract at Rs 300.90/kg, December at Rs 295.95/kg.
New Delhi, Nov 28 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose Rs 1.80 to Rs 300.90 per kilogram in futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded higher by Rs 1.80 or 0.6 per cent to Rs 300.90 per kilogram with a business turnover of 2,592 lots.

The December contract increased by Rs 1.65, or 0.56 per cent, to Rs 295.95 per kg in 2,691 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries, kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
