Zinc Futures Surge on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to strong demand from consuming industries, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Jul 3 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose Rs 4.55 to Rs 271.10 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded higher Rs 4.55 or 1.71 per cent at Rs 271.10 per kg with a business turnover of 3,022 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
