Zinc Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Jul 5 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose Rs 1.55 to Rs 276.20 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded higher Rs 1.55 or 0.56 per cent at Rs 276.20 per kg with a business turnover of 3,022 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
