Copper Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 0.39% to Rs 858.95 per kg on Monday, driven by weak demand and trimming of positions by speculators.
New Delhi, Sep 27 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell 0.39 per cent to Rs 858.95 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery eased by Rs 3.35 or 0.39 per cent to Rs 858.95 per kg in a business turnover of 8,758 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
