Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose 0.17% on Friday to Rs 718.25 per kg, driven by increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI) Copper prices on Friday rose 0.17 per cent to Rs 718.25 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in January traded higher by Rs 1.25 or 0.17 per cent at Rs 718.25 per kg in a business turnover of 5,830 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
