Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices rose 0.27% on Wednesday, reaching Rs 771.40 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Higher spot demand and increased bets by participants are attributed to the rise.
New Delhi, Apr 3 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.27 per cent to Rs 771.40 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in April traded higher Rs 2.10 or 0.27 per cent at Rs 771.40 per kg in a business turnover of 4,391 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
