Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand

Copper futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose on Monday due to increased spot demand and bets by market participants.
New Delhi, Mar 4 (PTI) Copper prices on Monday rose 0.42 per cent to Rs 731 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in March traded higher by Rs 3.05 or 0.42 per cent at Rs 731 per kg in a business turnover of 3,971 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
