Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Copper futures prices climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Jul 2 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday rose 0.08 per cent to Rs 845.05 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in July traded higher 70 paise or 0.08 per cent at Rs 845.05 per kg in a business turnover of 8,711 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
