Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Copper futures prices surged on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to participants raising bets.
New Delhi, Sep 17 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday rose Rs 3.60 to Rs 822.85 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in October traded higher Rs 3.60 or 0.44 per cent at Rs 822.85 per kg in a business turnover of 2,872 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
