Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper prices rose 0.13% on Wednesday due to increased spot demand, according to the Multi Commodity Exchange. Analysts attribute the rise to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Jul 24 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.13 per cent to Rs 811.05 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in August traded higher Rs 1.05 or 0.13 per cent at Rs 811.05 per kg in a business turnover of 10,521 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
