Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 0.57% to Rs 835.65 per kg on Thursday, driven by muted demand and speculator position trimming.
New Delhi, Jul 18 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday fell 0.57 per cent to Rs 835.65 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery eased by Rs 4.75 or 0.57 per cent to Rs 835.65 per kg in a business turnover of 9,125 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
