Copper Futures Surge on Higher Spot Demand - PTI

Copper prices rose 0.69% on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by increased spot demand and bullish bets by market participants.
New Delhi, Aug 12 (PTI) Copper prices on Monday rose 0.69 per cent to Rs 781.95 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in August traded higher Rs 5.35 or 0.69 per cent at Rs 781.95 per kg in a business turnover of 13,745 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
