Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Decline on Soft Demand

Cottonseed oil cake prices fell Rs 13 to Rs 2,798 per quintal in futures trade on Wednesday due to weak spot market trends and selling by participants.
New Delhi, Jan 15 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday declined Rs 13 to Rs 2,798 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for February delivery traded lower Rs 13 or 0.46 per cent at Rs 2,798 per quintal with an open interest of 45,030 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
