Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand

Crude oil futures fell 0.57% on Thursday to Rs 6,291 per barrel due to low demand. West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude also declined in global markets.
New Delhi, Aug 8 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Thursday declined 0.57 per cent to Rs 6,291 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for August delivery fell Rs 36 or 0.57 per cent to Rs 6,291 per barrel with a business volume of 12,301 lots.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.16 per cent lower at USD 75.11 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.29 per cent down at USD 78.10 per barrel in New York.
