Guar Gum Futures Rise on Firm Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange rose on Friday due to strong spot demand, with September contracts trading at Rs 10,465 per quintal.
New Delhi, Aug 30 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Friday increased Rs 17 to Rs 10,465 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for September delivery traded higher Rs 17 or 0.16 per cent at Rs 10,465 per quintal with an open interest of 24,020 lots.

Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
