Guar Gum Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices rose on Monday due to increased demand in the spot market, according to PTI. Speculators raised their holdings, driving up prices on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Nov 11 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday increased by Rs 43 to Rs 10,417 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for December delivery traded higher by Rs 43 or 0.41 per cent at Rs 10,417 per quintal with an open interest of 47,535 lots.
Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
