Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Aug 21 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose Rs 2.55 to Rs 264.10 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for September delivery traded higher Rs 2.55 or 0.97 per cent at Rs 264.10 per kg with a business turnover of 977 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
