Cottonseed oil cake futures prices fell on Monday due to reduced bets by participants amid weak spot market trends. The decline was attributed to selling pressure and subdued market sentiment.
New Delhi, Dec 4 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday fell Rs 21 to Rs 2,933 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in spot markets.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery declined Rs 21 or 0.72 per cent to Rs 2,933 per quintal with an open interest of 40,690 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
