Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures declined on Tuesday due to low demand, with October delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange closing at Rs 5,727 per barrel. Global benchmarks WTI and Brent also fell.

New Delhi, Sep 10 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Tuesday declined 0.21 per cent to Rs 5,727 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for October delivery fell Rs 12 or 0.21 per cent to Rs 5,727 per barrel with a business volume of 9,394 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.31 per cent down at USD 68.50 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.25 per cent down at USD 71.66 per barrel in New York.
