Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) Ltd has informed BSE that in an urgent meeting of Board of Directors of the Company called with the consent of all Directors of the Company, held on September 08, 2014 and the Board of Directors of the Company approved acquisition of Chlor-Alkali Division of Jayshree Chemicals Limited on slump sale basis for a cash consideration of Rs. 212 crores (Rupees Two hundred and twelve crores only), subject to necessary approvals and formalities.<br/><br/>In this regards, the Company has submitted to BSE a copy of Press Release dated September 08, 2014, titled "Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) Limited acquires Chlor-Alkali Division (CAD Division) of Jayshree Chemicals Limited (JCL)".
