AI Champdany Industries Ltd has informed BSE that on March 14, 2014, Shareholders of the Company approved by postal ballot for sale of one of the units of the Company namely Anglo-India Jute - Middle Mill located at Jagatdal, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal and after series of negotiations since then the Company has now entered into a final Sale Agreement on May 04, 2016 with M/s. P & A Distilleries Pvt Ltd for sale of above unit at a consideration of Rs. 16 Crores. Accordingly the Company has received the consideration money and the unit has been handed over to the buyer on May 04, 2016.
