| Andhra Bank has informed BSE that the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, New Delhi, vide its Gazette Notification dated November 02, 2015, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980, read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3, clause 6 and sub-clause (1) of clause 8 of The Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, after consultation with Reserve Bank of India, appointed Shri. Suresh N Patel, Executive Director, Oriental Bank of Commerce as the MD & CEO of Andhra Bank, from the date of his taking over charge of the post and upto December 31, 2017 i.e. the date of his superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.<BR><BR>Further Shri. Suresh N Patel, has assumed charge as MD & CEO, of the Bank on November 02, 2015. | |
