| Arihant Foundations and Housing Ltd has informed BSE that as per Section 2(41) of the Companies Act, 2013 ("The Act"), the financial year in relation to any company or body corporate, is defined as period ending on the 31st day of March every year which can be aligned within 2 years from the date of commencement of the Companies Act 2013. The Financial year of the Company is from 1st October to 30th September. In order to align the financial year with April - March as per the Companies Act 2013, the Company has extended the current Financial Year by a period of 3 months comprising of 15 months from October 01, 2014 to December 31, 2014. Further, the subsequent financial year of the Company shall also be extended by a period of 3 months comprising of 15 months from January 01, 2015 to March 31, 2016 to comply with the Act. | |
