The Exchange had sought clarification from AXIS Bank Ltd with respect to news article appearing on Moneycontrol website and CNBC TV18 on October 15, 2015 titled "ED uncovers another forex scam ; ED breaks forex scam related to Axis and OBC; ED Breaks Forex Scam Related To OBC & Axis Bank"<BR> <BR>AXIS Bank Ltd replied stating "We have taken note of the recent media reports involving our Bank alongwith 8 other banks relating to a probe by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). This is being investigated internally on a priority basis. <BR><BR>The bank is fully committed towards maintaining the highest standards of business & regulatory conduct and has 'zero tolerance' for any deviations.<BR><BR>The Bank will extend full co-operation to the law enforcement agencies during the course of any investigations in this regard."
