Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd has submitted to BSE a copy of a letter written to the Cane Commissioner, Govt. of U.P. and other concerned authorities for suspending the crushing operations of an its sugar units of the Company for the season 2014-15 in view of unprecedented financial difficulties faced by the industry and also in the absence of a longterm mechanism for determination of viable sugar cane price by the Govt. of U.P.
