Cheviot Company Ltd has clarified BSE as under:<br/><br/>"In terms of Section 108 of the Companies Act, 2013 and Rule 20(3)(vii) of the Companies (Management and Administration) Rules, 2014, the Company has fixed June 20, 2014 as the record date to determine members who shall be entitled to cast their vote by electronic means on businesses to be transacted at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company convened to be held on August 08, 2014 during the period commencing from 7:00 a.m. of August 02, 2014 to 7:00 p.m. of August 04, 2014.<br/><br/>Consequently, the same record date of June 20, 2014 would also determine members who do not cast their vote electronically, to cast their vote as may be required at the said AGM on August 08, 2014.<br/><br/>The Company would be availing e-Voting services of National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL)."
