Colgate Palmolive (India) Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company on August 18, 2014 passed a resolution appointing Mr. Issam Bachaalani as the Managing Director of the Company for a period of 5 years with effect from October 01, 2014 subject to statutory approval (s) under the Companies Act, 2013.<br/><br/>Further the Company has informed that, Ms. Prabha Parameswaran, the current Managing Director of CPIL has been promoted and appointed as the President Africa/ Eurasia Division and will relocate to Switzerland as part of her new assignment. Consequently, Ms. Prabha Parameswaran will cease to be the Managing Director of CPIL with effect from October 01, 2014.<br/><br/>Ms. Parameswaran will assume the new responsibility of Colgate's vast and diverse region effective October 01, 2014.<br/><br/>The Board of Directors of the Company placed on record their appreciation for the outstanding contributions made by Ms. Prabha Parameswaran during her tenure as the Managing Director of CPIL.
