With reference to the news item appearing in some of the newspapers captioned "Corporation Bank signs pact with Geojit for integrated account", Corporation Bank has clarified to BSE that "The Bank signed an MOU with M/s. Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services Ltd., on January 10, 2014 to offer Trading account facilities to its retail customers. This has been done consequent upon withdrawal of Trading account facilities by HSBC Invest Direct to retail customers of the Bank".
