Corporation Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980, read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1980, the Central Government has nominated Shri Manish Gupta, Director, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India, New Delhi, as the Director of the Bank representing the Central Government as Government Nominee Director with effect from April 16, 2014, vice Ms. Anna Roy.
