The Exchange had sought clarification from Emami Ltd with respect to the media reports titled "Emami acquires edible oil brand" appearing in MINT on September 26, 2014.<br/><br/>Emami Ltd replied as under:<br/><br/>"we would like to inform you that Emami Biotech Ltd has acquired the Brand Rasoi. Emami Biotech Ltd is a separate Company under Emami group companies engaged in manufacturing and selling of edible oil.<br/><br/>We would like to clarify that Emami Ltd is not concerned with the above transaction."
