Empee Sugars & Chemicals Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 11, 2016, has approved the following:<BR><BR>1. Upon expiry of the term of Chairman & Managing Director on December 24, 2015 Mr. M. P. Purushothaman was appointed as Executive Chairman and Managing Director of the Company w.e.f. February 11, 2016 for 3 years subject to shareholders approval /Central Govt. approval.<BR><BR>2. Accepted the resignations of the Directors namely, Mr. T. S. Raghavan- Independent Director and Mr. Sheeju Purushothaman - Non-Executive Promoter Director.
